My name is Lucy and I am a passionate health food enthusiast and a skilled chef dedicated to creating nourishing, flavourful dishes that support a balanced, vibrant lifestyle. With a deep understanding of the benefits of whole food ingredients, I combine my culinary creativity with a commitment to wellness, crafting meals that are as nutritious as they are delicious. Drawing inspiration from diverse culinary traditions, and emphasising on sustainability, seasonal ingredients, and mindful cooking techniques. Whether working in the kitchen or teaching others, I strive to inspire people to cultivate healthier eating habits and embrace the power of food to fuel both body and mind.

 

I set up a chain of health food restaurants (the Nude Food Group) that focused on this ethos, which also provided tailored meal plans designed on the metabolic balance principles to alleviate health issues and provide the body with optimal nutrition for both weight loss, weigh gain and other health and performance results.  I also work as a consultant within the hospitality trade assisting other restaurants on menu design.

 

Before training as a chef and starting my business’ I worked in the financial service industry and I am a chartered secretary by trade, although I enjoyed this fast paced environment I realised that my passion was not only cooking but also wanting to help others gain a better understanding of how the foods they eat and the quantities and timings in which they eat them could hugely assist them with their overall wellbeing.

I am Sarah Howard, founder of Synthesis. I am passionate about untapped potential, lifelong learning and personal development that supports healing and change from the inside out.

I received my Yoga Alliance training and qualification in Haridwar, India at the start of 2018 and have been teaching traditional tantric yoga from my own private dedicated yoga studio in Grouville ever since.

 

With a lifetime of my own practice, additional qualifications in teaching, mindfulness, depth psychology, coaching & supervision you are in good hands. This is a deep embodiment practice that not only realigns your muscular skeletal system. I use all my professional skills and wealth of personal experience to help my clients soothe their nervous system, identify where they are out of balance and change that on the yoga mat. Through coaching, this newfound balance can be taken out into everyday life. This creates positive change for the individual and positively impacts all interconnected personal and professional relationships.

Suitable for newcomers and seasoned yogis alike. I teach all the yoga flows of ancient Traditional Tantra through the seasons & elements of earth, air fire & water. The purpose is to build a relationship of trust with your body, re-balance your body mind state and begin to awaken sensory awareness. You will leave this retreat feeling invigorated, grounded, balanced, relaxed, and a whole lot more self-aware, with a set of tools to maintain this when you return home.

I developed a passion for holistic treatments from a young age starting as a massage therapist whilst exploring aromatherapy at the age of 20.

 

Being diagnosed with Crohn’s disease at 30, I became interested in nutrition and the digestive system. However, I noticed that it was my exploration of meditation, breathwork, yoga, reiki and crystal therapies that really began to settle my nervous system and improve my Crohn's. More recently New Vision Therapy completely healed my digestive system and eliminated all the pain in my joints and back. Today I am a fully qualified New Vision Therapist.

My treatments use all the techniques I learned and trained in through my healing journey.

 

I address the body, mind, and energy systems. Treatments combine massage, cupping, TENS Therapy, aromatherapy, crystals, reiki, meditation and New Vision Therapy to improve the digestive, respiratory, circulatory and lymphatic systems, and meridians while improving energy pathways and rebalancing the chakras. I also give advice on natural remedies and supplements.

The process promotes physical and emotional relaxation and supports the body's natural ability to heal.
