Coronavirus Policy & Procedures
I understand that Coronavirus is of concern to all my clients. I am taking it very seriously and carrying out regular risk assessments, as my priority is your well-being. I will continue to be vigilant regarding hygiene on the premises, and am taking the following additional measures:
-
To attend a physical session, you must not have any COVID symptoms and must have carried out a lateral flow test with a negative reult. Register for home testing via this link.
-
If you are a direct contact of someone who has tested COVID positive, whether you are partially/fully vaccinated or not, please do not attend any sessions until you have completed 5 days of negative lateral flow tests. Please do feel free to ask me for a zoom link to join your scheduled class.
-
Should I be contact traced, I will deliver sessions online via zoom until I have completed and tested negative to 5 days of lateral flow tests.
-
Here are the latest guidelines from the GoJ on COVID isolation. You will note from these guidelines that if you are a direct contact without symptoms you are not required to self-isolate. Please can I ask you not to attend tour session if you have been contact traced (whether you are showing symptoms or not) until you have 5 days negative Lateral Flow Test results. You are very welcome to join your session via zoom, just ask me for the link. If we all follow my enhanced risk assessed guidance we will reduce the likelihood of spread of COVID through the community during the winter months, and my facilities will remain open.
-
Please use the hand sanitiser on the table outside the front door before entering. Hand sanitiser is also available in the yoga/mindfulness studio, the 1:1 lounge and in the toilet facilities.
-
I am cleaning handrails, door handles, floors and bathroom facilities between appointments and sessions.
-
All surfaces and equipment have always been cleaned between use, but an anti-bacterial and anti-viral spray will be available for your own ease of mind if you want to clean a surface that you are using on my premises.
-
You are welcome to bring your own mats, meditation stools, blankets, towels or other props with you for our session.
-
Whilst I do provide mats and am vigilant on cleaning them between use, please can I ask you all to purchase a yoga towel to put on top of my mats. Amazon do a whole range of inexpensive slip resistant yoga towels like this one which you can wash easily between classes.
-
Please can you thoroughly wash your hands before and after our session.
-
Please avoid touching your eyes, nose and mouth and cover coughs and sneezes with a tissue.
-
I continue to be a part of the workforce testing programme, breaking the chain of coronavirus being passed on and preventing new clusters and outbreaks of the virus.
-
All group classes are fully compliant with GoJ legislation, industry guidance and are properly risk assessed.
Please can I ask you not to attend if you are feeling unwell, especially if you have a fever or respiratory symptoms. Everyone must do their own risk assessment of attendance, particularly those at higher risk of serious illness. If you have been out of the Island and recently returned, please follow the latest government advice which you can find here Travelling to Jersey (gov.je). If you are required to self-isolate under this guidance, please do not attend coaching, meditation, yoga or 1:1s. If you do find yourself having to self-isolate, please do feel free to ask me how you can join the classes online.
Please do not put others at risk of COVID if you have inadvertently found yourself at risk; most of my work translates easily and well to zoom, just ask me for a zoom link and keep all of us safe.
I will continue to monitor the latest advice and evolve my response as needed, and would ask you to do your part by keeping yourself up to speed on the latest government advice.
While there’s no way to make my facilities a total risk-free environment, the above precautions will certainly help reduce risk and ensure both you and I are doing our bit to help slow the spread of Coronavirus.
