Service Description
Part 2 of a 17 week programme to: * Improve your physical, mental & emotional health; * Reduce your anxiety; * Improve your sense of value, meaning & worth; & * Support you through change; Learn to integrate mind and body intelligence through 4 sessions of self-regulation tools, a combination of mindfulness and embodied movement applied to psychological theories. Attendees learn how to apply their embodied yoga experience from the mat to their everyday life. Taking the inner felt experience out into the world around them. Not only do they become more sensory aware, connected to themselves and nature, they are more balanced, calm, and creative in their response to problems in day-to-day life. Sarah received her Yoga Alliance training and qualification in Haridwar, India at the start of 2018 and has been teaching from her own private dedicated yoga studio ever since. With a lifetime of her own practice, additional qualifications in teaching, mindfulness, psychology and coaching you are in good hands. Psychological theories underpinning this programme, which is held within a psychosynthesis framework, include Bessel van der Kolk, PhD, (clinical psychiatrist and author of “The Body Keeps the Score”) and Stephen Porges, PhD, Polyvgal Theory.
